The History of Anthrofiction Network

In the spring of 2005, Nathan Ryan (Nadan) held the first Watching Stone AnthroStory Contest. He held another in summer and a third in late fall, with growing success. On March 1st he launched the spring 2006 contest season, but with only three weeks until the entry deadline, personal issues forced him to quit. Because Nadan’s vision and purpose for holding a writing contest are almost identical to my own for building this website, I stepped up to incorporate a writing contest into Anthrofiction Network. This writing contest is the direct descendant of the Watching Stone AnthroStory Contest.
