Summer 2008

The theme was More than Skin Deep. New Tricks by Faceless_Fiend, won. More about the Summer 2008 contest.

Spring 2008

The theme was Green. Two stories tied for first with identical scores of 3.91: In the Greenwood by Renee Carter Hall (“Poetigress”) and Saving the Magic by Michelle Hicks. More about the spring 2008 contest.

Winter 2008

I did not hold a contest for winter 2008, but used the time to update the website code. However, Vaperfox held the Tale Weaver Anthro Fiction Contest in its place. More about that contest here.

Fall 2007

The theme was Pumpkins. The Pumpkin Patch by Vixyy Fox, won. More about the Fall 2007 contest.

Summer 2007

The theme was A Sense of Wonder. Childish Things by Poetigress, won. More about the Summer 2007 contest.

Spring 2007

The theme was Blue Sky. Downward by Virmir, won. More about the Spring 2007 contest.

Winter 2007

Fall 2006

Summer 2006

Spring 2006

Nadan launched the contest as the Watching Stone Anthro Story Contest for Spring 2006 on March 1st, but was forced to drop out several weeks later due to personal circumstances. I picked up the contest and renamed it Anthrofiction Network’s Short Story Contest for Spring 2006, using Nadan’s theme and rules. The theme was Foreigners. The Dance by Dr. Kayngi, won. Winter 2006

There was no contest for winter of 2006. Several factors led to the fall contest being delayed. Because of this, Nadan skipped the winter contest and went straight to the spring 2006 contest.

Fall 2005

The Watching Stone Anthro Story Contest, managed by Nathan Ryan (Nadan). The theme was Apples. Family Matters (pdf), by Scott Miller (ScottyDM), won the Cat’s Eye award. More about the fall 2005 contest.
